In IChing Fengshui, the South West sector is represented by 坤卦 (Kun Gua; Earth element) and the East sector by 震卦 (Zhen Gua; Wood element)
The South West sector is regarded as representations of stability, nourishment, the mother in the family and long-term prosperity. It also signifies one’s ability to generate and sustain income. In the annual Chinese Zodiac cycle, it corresponds to the Goat and Monkey years.
The East sector is regarded as representations of personal growth and development, the eldest son in the family, ability to lead and the ability to ‘build’ enterprises. In the annual Chinese Zodiac cycle, it corresponds to the Rabbit years.
